Often, we see a new user who posts in their blog, when it looks like they were trying to post at a message board. A blog is your personal space, located in your profile. You can make a long post there, but people can only respond with very short comments. If you have not joined a message board yet, it is very unlikely that anyone at any given board will see your blog. A message board or forum is an online community, where any member of that community can start a discussion, and others can post more in-depth responses than they can in comments to blog posts. Activating and Deactivating Your Blog You can activate or deactivate your blog through the miscellaneous settings section of your control panel. This is also where you can change the number of blog posts that will show on each page, or leave it at '0' if you want to keep it at the default of 5 posts per page. Making a Blog Post Go to the "Blog" tab of your profile. At the bottom, click on the button that says, "Post a new entry." Fill in the subject line, type out your post, then click on the "Submit" button. If you don't want to allow people to comment on your post, you can un-check where it says "Allow comments" before you submit it. Adding Links, Images, and Other Formatting You may use BBCode in blog posts, but not in comments. Editing or Deleting a Post To edit or delete a post, hover on the post, and these options will show up in the bottom right corner of your blog post. If you're using a mobile device with a touch screen, tap inside the post to bring up these options. If you are deleting a post, you'll see a popup asking you to confirm this action before your post will be deleted. Disable/Enable or Hide/Show Comments After Posting Below the bottom right corner of each blog post, click on the lock to disable or enable commenting, or click on the eye to hide or show comments. If comments are disabled or hidden, there will be a message there telling you this. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Lesigner Girl)Sat, 03 Dec 2016 20:05:49 +0000
